Make your own blog or website. The web page should be completely devoted to your comic skills. Aside from a small biography that includes your personal information, the web page should provide short videos of you performing your comic shows. Record videos clip of yourself telling jokes and publish them even if you have never taken part at any comedy show. If you have scheduled comedy shows to perform, make a schedule page with information where and when you will be performing. Other concepts include featuring wacky images, a comedy blog and hyperlinks to other things you personally find enjoyable. Once the web page is created, you can share it within your circles.

Participate in comedy shows. Comedy competitions are an excellent way to get noticed as many industrialists and supervisors will be present at competitions looking for new acts. If they like your act, you might not only win the competition, but get a representation in the process.

Participate in open-mic evenings. Many funny groups across the country allow time during the week for an open-mic evening where anyone can perform for free. Many times individuals involved in booking acts for events watch these performances looking for new comedians. If they like your act, you may get booked and might be on your way to stardom.
