A chef is a skilled and professional cook who prepares food for others. Chefs are normally found in hotels, restaurants, party halls, bars, railway stations, airports etc. A chef can cook for a large number of people in a shortest time. How to become a chef?

Origami Artists



Origami is the traditional Japanese paper art. It is basically an art of folding paper into interesting shapes. The word Origami is a Japanese word , which literally means to fold (oru) paper (kami).The purpose of this art is to convert a flat piece of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not regarded as origami. Paper cutting and gluing is usually considered as kirigami art. Intricate designs can be made by just folding the plane sheet of paper any number of times. In general origami is the composition, performance of expressions of the art.  This art was developed in the early 17th century and became popular worldwide in the mid 1900s.

The Japanese soon incorporated into the art of folding paper into their popular culture. Paper sculptures slowly became the cultural exchange between Samurai Warriors and some intricate origami patterns were seen in religious ceremonies of Japanese. Because the paper was very expensive in ancient Japan, origami art was practiced initially by upper class people. However, as the time passed origami became popular throughout Japan. With more people getting into it, Japanese developed some complex and creative designs. Today, the art of origami has become popular worldwide because of some well informative books on this art.

While origami is traditionally associated with Japan, researchers questioned the date and location of origami development. China has a recognized heritage of paper folding as well, and early paper folding practices have been reported in several European countries, including Spain and Italy. But origami beginning is somewhat unclear, it is undeniable that origami has a vibrant and interesting history.

Learning Origami Art

Children learning and practicing the art of origami can take advantage of it. Researchers have found that Practicing Origami art will enhance the learning, direction, motor skills and increase the hand to eye coordination. Scientists have also found that language section of the brain will be stimulated since both brain and hands are engaged in origami paper art. It will also help them to understand the geometrical shapes, symmetry, balancing and assist them to visualize the angles. Therapists say that children can increase their concentration and memory skills by engaging themselves in this paper folding art.

Wine Tasting is the assessment of wines like sensory examination and evaluation of essentail factors of wine. Fruit Flavor: Almost all alcoholic beverages today have a fruit flavor. Fruit flavor contributes a lot to the taste of the beverage. A mastered wine taster can notice which flavor the wine has. 

With the above major 5 elements, wine tasting is almost complete, though not fully. A wine taster must be thorough in these fundamentals. When tasting any alcoholic beverages, it is not swallowed, but spit out usually. It is essential to move the wine around the mouth by swirling it, so that it hits all your taste buds. A taster must have an extensive knowledge about the different wines available and it is considered to be a very sophisticated practice. Though wine tasting is not uncommon in Asian countries, it is more popular in European countries. There will be specially arranged wine tasting parties in some countries. Tasting alcoholic beverages is a special and unique skill that has to be developed gradually. No one can master this art overnight. A lot of patience and perseverance is required to master this art. Some people have accepted this skill as their part time job.
