chef is a skilled and professional cook who prepares food for others. Chefs are
normally found in hotels, restaurants, party halls, bars, railway stations,
airports etc. A chef can cook for a large number of people in a shortest time. A
chef is supposed to have the knowledge of different verities of the food of the
region. A professional chef is required to serve the food for many people since
ordinary cooking persons cannot handle it. While keeping the quantity in mind,
quality of the food matters a lot for a chef. Therefore a chef must have
extensive knowledge and experience on particular recipes.
How to become a chef?
By
learning some fundamental knowledge, you will discover the delight in cook. To
start cooking, you can refer to some cook books or attend some cooking classes
in your city. That way you can try out cooking several dishes slowly over a
period of time. Try different recipes until you come up with something that
works for you. Similar way you need to get yourself mastered in at least 10-15
most liked dishes in your region. When you cook, you need to serve the food to
others and take their feedback. No one can master this art in a week or months.

is not possible to become perfect chef immediately. Based on the people feedback, you need to
work on your week points and improve those. For example, you may be week in
adding ingredients in required proportion or you may find it difficult to
notice whether the food items are under boiled or over boiled. Or it could be
adding inappropriate quantity of sugar, salt, oils etc. All these mistakes are
need to be given attention before you become an expert in a recipe.
You
need to pay close attention while cooking. Even a little absence of mind can
put you in trouble. Enthusiasm in learning and making new dishes,
experiments are most welcome for a chef. You must do this to keep yourself
updated about the new food recipes. A learner chef must give close heed to
cleanliness and safety. A dirty kitchen room and shabby work area makes you
upset and can spoil your mood. A chef
must ensure he uses quality and fresh vegetables, fishes, oils and meats;
otherwise it will waste your whole intention of serving good food to people. Ensuring
that you have modern kitchen equipments, utensils are equally important for a
chef.
